Homemade Mr. T doll in Camo Outift! Bling Bling!
12 x 22 inches
Homemade — Unknown
This is one of over 100 homemade Mr. T dolls. These dolls were made from a 1984 pattern by Miss Martha Originals. To compete with the Cabbage Patch Kid craze, these patterns were made so people could stitch their loved one their very own doll. Luckily, Miss Martha, was genius enough to license a pattern to make your very own Mr.T doll. The result is fantastic! A tremendous amount of homemade Mr.T dolls exist in this world, and I have collected almost 125 of them!
The pattern was available in craft and hobby stores. It has the plans to make the doll, clothes, shoes, and even tips on decorating the doll. Some followed the pattern exactly, some well, took the road less traveled. This one has a ton of jewelry, and hand-stitched eyes and face.
This is one of my favorite ones. I think he kinda looks like a muppet. For the record, Mike has one doll, I (Greg ) have over 100. Mike thinks they’re creepy, I think they’re great!
